RP1's rollup-based design is built to bring transaction costs down to a level where high-frequency activity actually makes sense. Velocity-based fees and pre-positioned liquidity mean most users should see only a small fraction of the gas they're used to — without giving up the security or speed they expect.

The aim is to take the friction out of bridging and the juggling act of holding gas tokens on every chain. For active users, fees can fall to fractions of a cent, which we think makes RP1 one of the more efficient ways to move digital money across chains.
